Travis Ehrenstrom
Travis Ehrenstrom is a Central Oregon-based singer-songwriter whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with rich, acoustic melodies. Born and raised in Sisters, Oregon, Travis found his love for music through family influences and formative music experiences through folk music festivals, learning the craft of songwriting at an early age from artists like Kelly Joe Phelps, Meg Hutchinson, and Willy Porter to name a few. Inspired by songwriters like John Prine, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan, Travis has spent over two decades crafting songs that explore connection, nature, and the shared human experience.
As a solo artist, Travis delivers introspective, folk-driven performances, embracing the power of lyrics and melody in intimate settings. At the same time, he fronts TEB (formerly The Travis Ehrenstrom Band), a six-piece fusion-rock group known for its improvisational musicianship and high-energy shows. Travis and TEB have performed at many notable festivals, like Cascade Equinox, 4 Peaks Music Festival, and Sisters Folk Festival, sharing stages with artists such as The Head and The Heart, David Ramirez, Jackson Browne, The Mother Hips, Goose, Leftover Salmon, The Brothers Comatose, and many more.
Whether playing solo or with TEB, Travis honors the traditions of folk music while creating a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. His music invites listeners to slow down, lean in, and find meaning in the moments shared, an approach he brings to house concerts, festival stages, and anywhere his songs can be heard.

TEB Bio
The musical collective TEB—known to Oregonians as the Travis Ehrenstrom Band— transcends boundaries while blending funky fusion-rock jams with the soulful essence of singer-songwriter Travis Ehrenstrom.
Songwriter Travis Ehrenstrom has been captivating audiences for over a decade as he writes of real life experiences and adventurous endeavors. However, it's with TEB that the true alchemy unfolds; a collaboration of six exceptional musicians, each adding their unique flavor to the mix. The lineup includes Travis Ehrenstrom (vocals/guitar), Patrick Pearsall (bass/vocals), Conner Bennett (guitar), Patrick Ondrozeck (keys), Kyle Pickard (drums), and Gregg Morris (guitar/vocals).
TEB's sonic landscape defies easy categorization. The music blends unexpected turns with open-ended intentions, allowing the band to explore and create in the moment. The band emerged from the post-COVID shadows with a new album, “Hollinshead,” a 5-song collection showcasing the sound of the band.
A decade of playing together has allowed TEB to produce a rich tapestry of live shows and memorable moments, as well as a dedication to the art of musical expression. What started as random practices and stands at local breweries has moved to multiple recordings and slots at festivals such as Sisters Folk Festival, 4 Peaks Music Festival, Cascade Equinox, Bend’s Fall Festival, Cruxapalooza, and Oktoberfest.
"Every time I play with those guys, there’s one of those moments where it’s just like, ‘Whoa! I can’t believe we just did that,’” says Ehrenstrom.
This sentiment encapsulates the essence of TEB's music—a journey marked by moments that can't be scripted but resonate deeply. Listen to the recordings, catch TEB live, and hear for yourself!

“Ehrenstrom’s songwriting is the through line, and he’s cooked up some winners. The 10 tracks explore nearly every corner of the roots-rock realm, from the Tom Petty-esque opener “Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way” to the jangly, upbeat “Heavy Light” to the riff-y stomper “I Watched the World End.” Elsewhere, “Sara” rides a soulful organ riff into a dark ’60s pop groove, while the stuttering piano chords of “Are You Chicago?” recall Ben Folds at his best.” - Brian McElhiney
But it’s the melodies that stand out the most. Ehrenstrom has an immensely likable and relatable voice, which he uses to great effect on the title track’s climbing chorus hook. That song would be the best track here if not for late-album sleeper “Holding on to Nothing,” a heart-wrenching look at a relationship gone stagnant (complete with violin and cello from Ehrenstrom) that should strike a chord with anyone who’s ever loved anyone.
“(Remain A Mystery is) an engaging listen, an eclectic, 21st century take on folk-pop-rock-whatever. Fans of Wilco, Ryan Adams and My Morning Jacket’s mellower moments should take notice.” - Ben Salmon, the Bend Bulletin!
“Ehrenstrom’s sweet-tenored songs seem like a cozy warm blanket, a comforting reminder about what is fundamentally important.” - Phil Busse, the Source Weekly
